They all say a version of the same thing: a voice coming out of a computer with nothing on the screen feels strangely disconnected. People ask for a face that blinks, that moves its head a little, that moves its mouth while it speaks. Some ask to choose the face. Some ask for it to be a human. Almost all of them ask for it to be optional and to stay put between conversations.
