The native Windows app is built and is coming soon. Signing and release testing are still in progress. Public Windows downloads, trials and new Windows subscriptions are not open yet. Facelet for Mac is available now.
Facelet is built natively for Mac and Windows. Each app renders the character on your own computer; the voice conversation connects to ChatGPT through your account. An internet connection is required.
This page is the place to check Windows availability. We’ll open downloads after the signed installer and update process have passed release testing.
PC requirements and hardware testing
The current target is Windows 11 24H2 or later (build 26100+), x64, with DirectX 12, Shader Model 6 and Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime. Physical testing so far covers an NVIDIA RTX 2080. Other NVIDIA models, AMD and Intel GPUs, hybrid laptops and integrated-only graphics are not yet qualified. Windows 10 and ARM PCs are outside the current target. A final VRAM minimum has not been established.

Your ChatGPT, with a face
Facelet adds a character that listens, thinks and speaks with you. Use it to practice a language, rehearse an interview or talk through an idea. ChatGPT supplies the conversation; Facelet renders the character and animates it from the audio.
The current Windows app requires an installed Codex helper signed in with your ChatGPT account. A ChatGPT subscription is required; Windows plan compatibility is still being validated. Your ChatGPT plan and its usage limits remain separate from Facelet. Complete setup instructions will accompany the public Windows release.
A separate installer for Windows
The two native apps have separate installers. Windows uses a Setup EXE and its matching app ZIP, downloaded into the same folder. Use the Windows installation instructions when that release is available.
Signing, clean-machine installation and update testing are part of preparing the Windows release. There is no public Windows installer to download yet.

Yes. Facelet has separate native apps for Windows and Mac. The Windows app uses your PC’s graphics hardware to render and animate a lifelike 3D character while you talk with ChatGPT.
