Facelet is a Mac app that gives your ChatGPT a face: a lifelike human character that listens, thinks, and speaks with you in real time. Facelet is in development.

No. Sign in with the ChatGPT account you already have, and Facelet uses your subscription’s voice conversation. There’s no API key to paste and no usage bill from us. Facelet itself is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It has been tested with ChatGPT Pro; other plans are being validated.

Emma, Sophia, Avery, Isabella, Maya, Liam, Noah, Ethan, Jay, and Marcus. All ten are included in the first collection, and more characters will follow after launch as separate collections. The portraits on this page are concept art; the app renders each one live in 3D on your Mac.

Facelet starts its own voice conversation with ChatGPT through your login. It doesn’t read your chat history, import your memories, or store your ChatGPT credentials. Your plan’s usage limits still apply.

Mac only, on Apple silicon: an M2, M3, M4 or newer chip, macOS 14 or newer, and 16 GB of memory recommended. Intel Macs and M1-family Macs are not supported by the current build, and there is no iPhone, iPad, or Windows version. Development testing has been on an M2 Ultra; performance on other supported Macs is still being confirmed.
